Specific FJD Joint Support 400 g

Dry food for cats to support joint function in cases of osteoarthritis, and for healthy adult and senior cats to maintain mobility. The diet has an exceptionally high content of omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA from fish, and GLA from borage oil, to support joint health and mobility. Balanced energy content helps maintain optimal body weight, while L-carnitine promotes fat metabolism and lean muscle mass maintenance. Natural glucosamine and chondroitin further support healthy joints, while antioxidants neutralise free radicals. Manganese supports proteoglycan synthesis. Urinary pH below 6.4 and low RSS values for struvite and calcium oxalate contribute to urinary tract health.

Specific FJD Joint Support also contains psyllium husk, a soluble gel-forming fibre that helps regulate gastrointestinal function. Maintaining an optimal weight is especially important, as excess weight places stress on the musculoskeletal system. The diet is nitrogen-packed to protect its uniquely high EPA and DHA content. Not suitable for kittens, pregnant or lactating cats.
